Prolife Christians: How long will you play into the GOP's hands?

Under President Bush, who claimed to be prolife, you had a Republican President, a Republican House, a Republican Senate, and a Republican Supreme Court. Your votes gave the prolife party total control, and guess what? Abortion is still legal. They had eight years to do whatever they wanted, including bombing Iraqi children and pregnant women, but abortion is still legal. But all they have to do is say "prolife" and "family values" and you people vote for them like Pavlov's dogs. When will you learn the GOP is simply USING you???

Public Comments

  1. Although you are right, the same will happen under a Democratic party rule. The Republicans and Democrats are two hands on the same entity.
  2. did you steal that hat? or the title captain?
  3. You're asking them to question their authorities, this is the same thing as asking them to question "God."
  4. So instead I'm supposed to vote for some whiny liberals who love to kill babies and even want the new health care plan to support murdering children. Epic fail.
  5. And what do you propose we do? 3rd parties have a history of failure in America.
  6. Easy there chief...it's almost bedtime and you don't want to go to bed angry...have a nice cup of tea and watch a Family Guy episode...that will put you in a better mood.
  7. They will for quite a while longer. Numerous pro-choice justices on the Supreme Court were appointed by Republican presidents. They don't seem to notice this. Abortion is just a gimmick to get votes.
  8. That is the reason Bush and Rove were overheard just after the 2004 Presidential election laughing and making jokes about how stupid and gullible conservative Christians. More amazing though, even that did not give them the hint. But then, neither did Rove admitting that he is an Atheist. Or, as he phrased it, 'I was not bessed with having faith."
  9. This is a fantastic knee jerk issue for the GOP. Because they can call for litmus tests and oaths and whatever and then get poor people to vote against their own best economic interests on this one subject and they never have to deliver. They couldn't if they wanted too. Its a court issue so the congressmen can say whatever and never have to do a thing about it.
