How long do songs stay on vh1 Top 20 countdown?

I want to know how long songs are allowed to stay on vh1's Top 20 Countdown? Is there a time limit or something?

1. each week there is a different list on the vh1's top 20 countdown. the following week there may be a song that is voted onto it again but it is different most of the time.
