Right To Life Knowledge Base
Do you think then when you are on the right path in life..the universe will reach out to help you? I heard this saying on Oprah i think :) But I guess I interpret it as meaning - when you are doing the right thing with your life - people etc etc will help you along the way. Basically when are on the right life path..... things will get easier. Do you think this is true? Or is it too sugar coated to be real? Maybe it is just more of a positive thinking type thing. When you are on the right path in life - you are more prone to see good than bad.
How do you know if you are on the right life path? Do you think there will be a feeling or some signs that you aren't living your destiny? Do you think you can sense that what you're doing is not what you should be doing? And do you think our choices can throw off the universe? Like two people being together...who aren't right for each other? I know these are out there questions, but I want to know your thoughts about "destiny," if you believe it exists.
What song best describes your life right now? There's a song for every mood. My boyfriend and I aren't doing very well right now, so the song that fits my life perfectly right now is "One" by U2. If you had to pick one song to best describe your life right now, which song would it be?
How should I motivate myself to live life right as a christian? I'm a very self conscious 14 year old girl who has a lot of expectations for myself. I want to live life to the fullest and be the best that I can be, but I'm always stuck with not knowing who I am, if god really loves me, or what I should really do with my life. What should I do? Who should I talk to? I really appreciate the help, thank you.
What song(s) currently sums up your life right now? It has been said that there is a soundtrack to our lives. Well here are a list of songs that sum up my life right now? Wise up- Aimee Mann Walk on- U2 How to save a life- The Fray couldn't pick a song because it's really between the three at the moment. What song(s) sum up your life right now? Extra point for why they do as well :-)

What would you do if Michael Jackson came back to life right now? Just think about it... After all the good things Michael Jackson did to this world, and all the things we learned about him after his death.. just imagine if he were to come back from the dead (which would be impossible, but again it's an fictional question) right now and showed himself in before your very eyes? Would that be awesome?
What song reminds you of your life right now? Lyrics wise or melody wise, when you listen back to it will remind you of this time in your life? Mine is chamber - these new puritans or rainbows in the dark - tilly and the wall
What should I do about my anxiety disorder and my life right now? Ok first off I must make it clear I not some person who is looking to drop out of College because its heard, I am a pro when it comes to College, I hold an associates degree in Liberal Arts that I got when I lived in New York. In my 24 years I lived in New York I never had any major anxiety disorder and thus had no trouble really fousing in on the tasks at hand or completing any dutys I had. I have lived in Florida now with my family for one year and 1 month and about 3 months ago I started to get anxiety attacks and found it leading to me lossing my job, and now I am finding it hindering my ablity with College. I am wondering if I need to take care of this disorder before contuing on with my College work, or if I should suffer though while trying to get better and let my disorder effect my GPA? Would it be wise to once my mind is clear to then try going back and doing what I always found enjoyment in and thats learning, since right now I have no joy in that. In early Jan. I spent 4 days in a row crying my eyes out. I have lost alot of sleep tossing and turing trying to stop myself from worring about things. My stomich has been in a mess. This past week I spent it crying once more, and vomting and lacking sleep, and great loss in desier to do anything I found joy in, or know I must do. It seems like I have to force myself to do the things I never had problem with. From going to class, to doing the work, to doing my household chors, or going to the gym or church. I just seem like all of it has stoped bring any joy to me, and I just feel more worried, more nervous, more upset, and more sick, and in pain.
Who is the biggest douche-bag in your life right now? Im sorry but it has to be my dad- we've gotten to the point where if a button on the remote control doesnt work properly he yells at me and blames me for it. I mean- Im too old for this crap :\ I still love him though- Its a late mid-life crisis

How come National Right to Life is Pro life but when it comes to air pollution ? How come National Right to Life is Pro life but when it comes to air pollution causing more miscarriages then medical abortion they completely ignore the subject? Also why did they support a candidate who refused to clean up Uranium in drinking water? Witch is not only can be deadly to drink it could be deadly to bath in.
what is the dollar value on your life right now? say you were not you. You were someone else and miserable. How much would you pay to be the person you are right now and have the life you have? the point is getting missed... how do elaborate...? How much value do you place on your own life, the person you are the life your've made. not for money but it's an easy rating system. Your right money doesn't matter but for the purpose of this question it's a good rating system. lets say the cap is 100,000 that's the best your life will ever get. Were are you right now on the scale. Are you the person you want to be?
What lyric do you find suits your life right now? Please state the lyrics, the song name, and the artist. "You put yourself in stupid places, yes I think you know it's true. Situations where it's easy to look down on you" Everything to Everyone- Everclear. It seems to fit my every action lately.
I am really scared of life right now? I'm a college student majoring in film studies and often I find myself imitating reality by the actions seen on films. My reality gets distorted with films and I act and think in ways you are not supposed to in real life. I am really confused right now because I don't know how to behave in society as a "normal" person. For instance, when talking to people I would always think of movie references and try to incorporate that into the conversation. In addition my reality seems very fake, it just doesn't seem real at all and I feel that my actions won't lead to any consequences, so I feel even more lost in life. Basically my reality seems very distorted to me...
What is the difference between a right to life and a claim to life? i posted this question last night under philosophy but thought i'd try ethics!! :) i know a right to life is the right not to be killed unjustly but how would you describe a claim to life in a short sentence in terms of a fetus. i.e. while some people might not think a fetus has a right to life (because a fetus is not a person and only a person has a right to life therefore a fetus does not have a right to life), a fetus has a claim to life (it has the potential to become an actual person and therefore will have the right to life when it becomes a person).
What is the hardest thing to over come as a Christian in your life right now ? ? You can take this in any direction you wish. Is it hard for you to admit that there might be an area in your life that troubles you ? Do you think you are the only one who struggles with this ? In my Christian life I struggled with many things. Just to mention a few. Smoking, porn, believing God gave up on me, depression, focusing on money, self-centeredness, being unfaithful to God. The Christian life is a growth process. You come to God with all your baggage. Not after you clean it all up. God will deliver you instantly from some and other things He wants to work on with you. So whats your struggle ?
How would you describe your life right now? Here are the choices: Miserable, Indifferent, Contented, Happy. I'd say I feel indifferent. Every day is like the next, nothing to look forward to, but nothing to dread either.
What is the biggest problem in your life right now? In all honesty, mine is I just got rejected from the college I should be going to, which is VERY easy to get into. I'm contemplating how to tell my parents, it is embarrassing. Let's see how minor/major yours are compared to mine.
What's the theme song to your life right now? Mine would be Gucci Mane-Wasted only because I'm in college and I go to a lot of parties and drink a lot (socially) lol So tell me. What's your theme song for this point in your life and why?
What is the biggest downside to your life right now and how are you responding? for example, I am in debt 150,000 dollars from college and law school, and I am handling it by indulging in a variety of drugs which allow me to forget about it. Kitten, your sentence should read: "You're an idiot{;} in addition, you're lying." If you want to say "you are", you use "you're" If you want to use it as possessive like "your" house, or "your grammar sucks", then you simply say your. What do you know, I didn't spend all of that money for nothing.
What qualifies one has having a right to life? I hear pro-choicers say one has to experience sentience, consciousness, self-awareness, etc. etc. to have a "right to life" (because pro-choicers are apparently arrogant to the degree that they believe they are ones to choose who does or doesn't have a right to live) But doesn't this disqualify infants? How about comatose patients? Do you believe random people should be allowed to kill comatose patients and infants without suffering legal repercussions?
Should the unborn be placed above its creator in the right to life? Check out Nicaragua women. Expecting women have less right to life that a tubal fetus that will kill a woman unless she finds an illegal back alley doctor to save her life. Women's right to life, privacy, and safe quality healthcare is not something that should have to be debated.
Should parents have the right to terminate the life of their children? Should mothers have the right to terminate their children at any point in their lives maybe an errant 18 year old delinquent or a pertulant 6 year old and we should place some trust on mothers to make the right choice and the freedom to do so? In a totally secular logical society without the need for God should we not confer the right for a woman to chose what to do with their flesh if they see fit or do not want ot be burdened with children, surely children are just a bundle of cells that have multiplied and terminating them would be like removing tonsils. What would the practicalities be? Should we allow this for all time or should there be a cut-off age when children have a right to life, like an age of majority? Should this be subsidised by the state or should parents pay for this themselves? Why should the right to life be such a privilege rather than a commodity?
What do i do my acne is ruining my life right now? Im breaking out really bad these past two weeks and im on medicine for it. Before that i was on accutane and it cleared me up and just left me with red marks now im getting again and its making me depressed and not want to socialize at all. What game has control of your life right now? For me it is Mass Effect. Of course when Star Wars: The Force Unleashed comes out I will be all but dead to the world. DRAGON 2008 "I BELIEVE IN U.S." Assassin's Creed is a great game that I need to get back on. Splinter Cell: Double Agent was a little disappointing. I am not pleased with the direction Ubisoft has taken with the title.
How do I make my battery life visible in the right-hand corner of my screen? I just installed an update on vista and for some reason the battery life no longer is shown in the right hand corner. When I go to properties, only the clock is able to be selected -- the other things like battery life, volume, and network are gray and cannot be selected. This is horrible because I never know when my battery is dead/alive! Please help.
Choosing between Nationwide Life Insurance or MetLife Insurance. I am not sure how to choose the right compan Choosing between Nationwide Life Insurance or MetLife Insurance. I am not sure how to choose the right company. I'm planning to buy both life insurance for myself & husband but I want to make sure I choose the right company. Does anyone have experience with any of these company? I'm considering 30 terms for est. $12/month, or whole life w/o cash buildup for $50/month. I do not want to be in the 60s and my 30 terms expire and my renewal going to be like $300++, which is why I'm considering whole life w/o cash buildup. Same goes with my husband plan. But, not sure which company and if any complains about those company.
Can you please give me some ideas of right angle triangles in real life? I have this geometry project in which I need to apply the concepts of sine, cosine, tangent, and the Pythagorean theorem on a real-life example of a right triangle; so I need some real-life examples of right angle triangles. I would prefer 30 - 60 - 90 or 45 - 45 - 90 triangles ASAP. Thank you!

Is life and living a privilege or is it a right? If she is permitted to occupy his life is it a privilege or is it a right? If he is permitted to occupy her life is it a privilege or is it a right? If you are allowed a driver's license, is it a privilege or is it a right? Does the right to live come without conditions?
Why do right-wing people support life IN the womb, but not support programs to help the unwanted children? I have noticed that although many Republicans are pro-life, (protecting a fetus's right to be born,) these same Republicans also tend to cut funding for or eliminate social programs that would help the very children the pro-life movement protected IN the womb. (because many of these children are poor and served by these programs.) This seems hypocritical; protect the child's life in the womb, then deprive that same child once it is born. Why is this done? It makes no sense to me.
What gives anything the right to life? Normal adult humans are clear cut examples of beings that have a right to life. Trees do not have a right to life. Chimpanizees might or might not have such a right. Human embryos also may or may not have such a right. How is one to decide?
Is it right to deny babies their right to enjoy the good things of life? When babies are aborted, it seems unfair. Their right to enjoy life, family, relationships, friends, food, entertainment,...etc are robbed from them. I'm glad I wasn't aborted, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to enjoy everyday life as I do. It just doesn't seem fair to deny some people their life, after all we only have one life to live here on earth. What do you think???
Why do religious folks vote based on right to life/choose when it gets them nada? Bush tipped the scales to become a two term president based in large part on the abortion/right to choose issue. Where did that get them? I know where it got the rest of us, but seriously,.. why do people put so much focus on that issue when choosing a candidate? Does it really matter that he or she professes to be pro life if they do nothing about it?
The right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? These are apparently the rights that each US citizen is entitled to. Can you explain what the right to life entails? is it really self explanatory? Do I have the right to medical treatment to keep me alive? What about if i can't afford it?
Are you gratefull for life? Are you appreciative of your chance to be conscious? We all get bogged down in the shit of life but who could tell our story but us? No one! Who on this planet, in this Universe, could sing our song, dance our dance, moan with our complaints, make our judgements, get stuck in our shit, find our way out ..........except us? Nobody, no-one! We are each unique and yet we are so connected to each other. Who but each of us could even read and ask ourselves this question?
Do you believe you have the right to know the intimate details of Tiger Woods' private life? Tiger Woods recent car accident and all the media scrutiny has lead to an admission from him that he has let down his wife and family, presumably meaning he has been involved with another woman. Do you believe you have the right to know the intimate details of his private life (and the lives of other pro athletes), and that the media should hound him mercilessly until it all comes out, or do you think that it's no one's business but his family's?
Does the prospect of life after death, affect the quality of your life right now? If there was no hope of living beyond the life you now have, would you act differently? Is it possible that some people's attitude and conduct might even be better with the certain knowledge that this life is all you get? Would knowing that there is no life after death make you a better person now? Would there be much less, if any, religous zealot inspired terrorism, if everyone was grounded in the fact that this life is it? I think so what about you?
How do i find the right direction to take in life? I keep trying to figure out what i want to do with my life and I cant figure it out. I see all the things other people are doing, how they're so motivated and interested in what they're learning in school. They know what they want to do as their life's work, or at least have a good direction. I didn't excel in anything in high school, just did well in everything. I haven't found my passion yet so what can I do?
My life is kind of boring right now, will it get more exciting in the future? I'm an only child and i dream of having siblings; i hate how boring my house is and nobody really talks in my family. I don't really have best friends..just a couple of good friends. but i have many dreams in the future that envolve excitement. is it possible for me to have an exciting future, regardless of the fact that my life is boring right now?
Why do "right to lifers" not know that their position is actually opposed to the right to life? It's about as logical a principle as there is that being opposed to abortion rights is a defiance of the right to life. When John Locke wrote about the right to life, he clearly meant not just life but a right to body and a right to make decisions about your own body (source: Second Treatise on Government). An embryo or fetus is not a child but an organism that could possibly become a child, but is now only a symbiont that cannot survive without reliance on the mother. Therefore the fetus is merely a part of the mother's body. What she chooses to do with her own body is her choice and is actually the free practice of the right to life. To want to create a police state that throws women and their doctors into prison for exercising that right to life would be denial of the right to life. Case closed. Notice how the first several answers never really addressed the point about the term "right to life." Only one by Bea Bea addressed that and this is the only real challenge that I should address. If a woman would like to abort her child after the time of viability, she should have the right to make the decision about her body to cut off the symbiotic relationship, but the doctor should do her or his best to not harm the fetus. If the extracted fetus can live, then the fetus should be given the chance to live. The rest of the arguments against did not address my points and either made an emotional, religious, or otherwise irrational argument. The best choice answer is the only other exception. And I should point out the only woman who answered (as far as I can tell based on name and icon) who's opinion should count way more that any man (including myself) who answers who would never have to directly face this difficult choice.
When you come to a fork in the road of life, do you take the left or right side? The left side is the easy side, something you may or may not want, but is easy to attain, will make you content, but may not keep you happy for long. The right side is the hard side, something you really want, but it's difficult to attain, you probably won't even get it, but it will keep you happy the longest, but you may not get anything at all and may be worst off than if you had not even driven at all... Which road do you take?
What kind of life insurance do we need? and what is a good company to buy from? My husband and I are 28 years old, have three children and plan to have one more child in the near future. We live in Virginia (DC area). His annual earnings are about $70k; I also work part time earning annually about $35k. We currently have life insurance through our employers, but we want to get policies on our own. Can anyone recommend a good company to go with and a type of policy that we should get?
when did life start to get good for you? what part of your life did things start to pick up. or whats the happiest time you had at what part of your life. 1.tell what part of ur life, around what age you was and in detail why it was. you will get 10 points for best answer.
Does a human fetus have a right to life? Does the Constitution protect the life of a human fetus? This is the question that will never be satisfatorily answered, but still, a very important concept of 'Life' that the Constitution protects. Some laws protect the life of a fetus, for example, if a pregnant mother is harmed in an auto-accident or violence by another person, and the human fetus is killed, the person who caused the accident or the violence can be sued for homicide. By the way, Roe vs. Wade did not end the continuing debate, it is just a precedent, not a conclusion to the debates. I happen to think that fetuses are human and do deserve to live. But that's my personal opinion.
The time has come in my life to take a tough but right decision. What do you suggest ? At present I have the following options : 1. A beautiful, noble lady is ready, able and willing to commit to take care of me for the life. There is no guile or hotch potch. I accept her and go ahead. 2. There is an old friend of my not so beautiful lady with some good qualities but who does not care for me presently. She is also surrounded by / close to people with disputable reputations. I try to win her heart and hope things will be better in future. 3. I reject them both and remain totally non committal. In your opinion which of these options should one select and why ?
how many life times are Soul mates said to follow their other half? and why just one? what is the ways that they meet usually each time? and can they be even "soul mate" friends? best friends ,e tc? or are they usually people we were wedded to in past? if so, how many life times ago? and WHY just one? how many lifetimes they do this? and what is their purpose said to be for us each time? why do some marry others during this lifetime? please explain your views. thanks for your answers!
What's the right kind of life insurance for my situation? I'm a 22 year-old, healthy male(don't smoke or do anything considered dangerous), who lives with my Dad. My Dad's employer only pays $10,000 to him if something happened to me. I'd like to get a life insurance plan where I can make my Dad the beneficary. I've been told Term Life would be my best, but was hoping other answers. Thanks for the help.
Is it right to express your personal life problems online? Okay, so I'm looking around youtube and stuff and so many people are telling people they don't even know things like: "Me and my boyfriend broke up" or "My life sucks" or even "I'm going emo". Do you find that pathetic at all? It may just be me, but something seems wrong with that. I want to know your opinion on this. I do not mean to offend anyone, I'm just curious. Hmm... I agree with both of my answers so far. Krin has a point: We usually try to help anyway
What happens to my life insurance if the policy holder dies? A family member has been paying life insurance for me since I was a baby and I was wondering what happens if that person died? Does the policy go to me? Also is there a certain age where the policy is handed to me or is that just something I heard? I'm 21 by the way.
How do you know if your life is flashing in front of you eyes right now? They say you have a flashback of your life when you die. How can one be certain that they aren't currently in the final moments of life in some hospital or anywhere else; and what your experiencing now is actually a memory/flashback? Would that explain Deja Vu? How can you prove you're really alive?
What movie best represents your life right now? Just a fun little question for the teens out there. Please state what movie it is and why. Mine (even though I'm not 13) is 13 Going on 30. Sometimes I just think how much better it would be if I were older, but then I realize that the people I love are with me right now. Thanks!
So does goverment have right to take someone's life after all, according to law? I was wondering about one contradiction in US legislative system. Accprding to the Declaration independence it is "self-evident" that every human being has right for freedom, pursue of happiness AND LIFE. But as I know in USA the death penulty is not prohibited. So doesn't means that state can violate the right of a man for life. Please correct me if I am mistaken! Thank you for your attention!
Is faith in God from a desire to perpetuate something similar to the experience of life? Yet is life a brief and wonderful glimpse of reality only, amid a sea of eternal nothingness? And is not life a struggle for survival in a savage world where life feeds off life? So in this life, should we have no fear that the eternal nothingness before life might continue after life is over? This is just as much a philosophical question as a religious one, and I did post it on R&S with no answers so far.
Feminists: Does the right to one's body extends to the right to the life of the unborn? Is the right to one's body superior to the right of life of the unborn Is there any such thing as the right of the unborn? Is the unborn human? I appreciate everybody's ratiocinations on this matter, Indeed, I have asked a much debated issue. Some of the answers I already know, some are quite new to me. I will let the community decide the best answer. That way, I would know the pulse of the yahoo community on this issue.
Do YOU think access to an abortion is a constitutional right? Where in the constitution does it explicitly say there is a right to privacy? Even if it were explicit, where in the right to privacy does the right to control the life of another come from? If someone finds out about my secret porno stash and tries to blackmail me with said info, should I be able to kill them because they're interfering with my fundamental right to privacy? God bless.
Is it good for laptop battery life to leave it plugged in? I just got a laptop, and it has a lithium battery. I read in the instructions that it is best to use frequent chargings and keep it above 40% power. Would it hurt to just leave it plugged in all the time? Or should I let it run down to maybe 50% before charging it again? Thank you!
What is the current quality of life for white people living in South Africa right now? Since it's been quite awhile since aparthied has ended and South Africa switched to majority rule, what has been the impact on white's living there? Is it a good place to consider moving to if you are white? What do you think is the trend on the quality of life in the future? Do you think it's improving or diminishing? I have never been to South Africa, I'm an American and I am just curious about how things are going there. I'd like to get persepectives from people who actually live there. Thank you all.
Are we endowed by the Creator with a right to abort babies or reinvent marriage? The concept of a right, as used in the Declaration, referred to a special status conferred by God as part of being human, and included equality before the law, life, and liberty. Is the right to abort a prenatal child or to marry someone ineligible for marriage also an endowment of the Creator, or is it an affront to the Creator's plan?
hi does anyone know how to build a mini life like home? I would really like if maybe it had separate rooms life like grass like fake grass. Windows that are cool and maybe a pool because i really want to build one I always wanted to but never could find materails or how to build it. Please help thanks! It doesn't have to have all those things but if it did thank you so, so much.
Is life worth living without utopia? Why do you choose to live, when you did not choose to be born and have no? Is life worth living without utopia? Why do you choose to live, when you did not choose to be born and have no control over the life you were given Why not revolt against God or the Selfish gene? We didn't choose the state of the world we would be born into, or our place in the world. If the values of the actually existing world are contrary to our own, why not commit suicide rather than endure living under a moral system you find immoral?
Are we looking for intelligent extraterrestrial life in the right places? In an advanced intelligent life system scenario the life would have to have accomplished things we would find it difficult to imagine. We should be looking for giant systems floating in space that have streams of traveling machines very active and full of lights and lasers and smoke and gases and radio waves and a mess of information such as looking at one of our cities and the messes we produce. I think they would have moved away from their planet and into space. In space all systems can be controlled mechanically no weather no earthquakes etc. Are we looking for the telltale signs of a space society.
College life, studying, exploring other interests, and time management? How to be successful? I am a high school senior who doesn't know many people that can give me advice and guidance on what college is really like? How does a person still be sociable and hang out with friends (time to spare?) while working towards a bachelor's degree and studying really hard to achieve a lot in college? How can a person manage time properly, so they can have a successful professional start and be still in touch with their personal life (family, friends, and boyfriend)?
I'm a man who in everyday life is true "alpha" in every sense, but privately likes to have women spank me? I am attracting ,for the most part, women who are attracted to a powerful personality. And the transition is steep,to the point that most relations rapidly fade afterward. I am a generous person and would and have catered to any and all desires that are presented for me to take part in for the fulfillment, happiness or even the curiosity of my partner. So is it selfish of the ladies not to play along? Or is this really so weird that its just not right to expect my needs ever to be understood?
Is there any truth to alien life forms? Besides countless sightings is there any substantial evidence of conspiracy theories out there? People can believe that there is a man in the sky that watches our every move, but the existence of other life forms sounds to sci-fi for them. Wow people are freaking idiots.

How can abortion be a woman's right if it involves another life? The life of an unborn child? There is clearly something wrong here. How do women live after having abortions? There are so many avenues these days, especially in the West, where women can get help, I just can't imagine how someone could have an abortion. There's even adoption! Oh yes Tracey, I have carried a pregnancy to term. ANd it was anything but hell. I loved my little baby from the word go, and he wasn't planned!
Who can give me a real-life situation pertaining to this Right? The right of the peole to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects against unreasonable searches and seizures of whatever nature and for any purpose shall be inviolable, and no search warrant or warrant of arrest shall issue except upon probable cause to be determined personally by the judge after examination under oath or affirmation of the complainant and the witnesses he may produce, and particularly describing the place to be searched and the persons or things to be seized.
Should individuals have the right to take their own life? You see some people being forced to suffer out their lives; stuck in mental hospitals or just plain restrained by someone when they are so sure that they just don't want anything to do with life anymore. It can't honestly be okay to just make them suffer by not letting them commit suicide. But it's also difficult to just let someone kill themself. So I can't really decide. So far I'm leaning a bit more towards that we should have the right, but maybe there is something I am overlooking. Any input?

What LDS Scholar has named a place in meso america that correlates not only to the Book of Mormon Geography, but has found any remains? Why arent there maps in back of Book of Mormon?Did you know about researcher Tom Ferguson who got money from Willard Marriot to find such places? What was his conclusions?
How long do mid life crises take and how much is fair to put up with? I tried talking to him, I get accused of wanting to argue. He says he feels numb and doesn't feel anything. I pointed out that he was able to break through his numbness and tell our daughter that he loves her, but still he refuses to tell me. He didn't respond. I have taken the wedding ring off, he probably wont notice.
How do you know if military life is right for you? What do I need to know before applying to the US Naval Academy next year. I have the grades and am a swimmer, so I will be looking to swim for Navy if accepted. What is Navy life like and what is the Academy like?
What can you do right now today to start living your life the best that you possibly can? I read a story about a boy who made a goal list at 15 years old. He wrote down everything he wanted to do in his lifetime - the places he wanted to visit, the instruments he wanted to play, the accomplishments that he wanted to make. It totaled 127, and I don't mean simple things - he wanted to climb Mt. Everest, he wanted to learn to play the piano, but he also wanted to compose his own music as well as learn to play many of the classics. He wanted to learn Japanese, Korean, Russian, and then visit those places. He did each one as he put forth the effort to do it. The story went on to say that he did about 117 of the 127, but what really stood out for me was that he made the list at 15, and he died at 75. Between then, he married and had 5 kids. Today, if we have 2 children, we feel that we are locked down by the cares of life - and we live in a rut of routine. He proved that we too can make our lists....TODAY and begin living our lives to the fullest no matter how old we are.
How do you find the right balance between school and social life? As a sophomore at an elite public school in NYC, I have trouble keeping a social life (barely have one) because of school work. Although it is an elite public school and most students are very hardworking and competitive, many people do seem to fit in a social life. It's difficult for me to do this and at the same time maintain a 95+ average with a very rigorous course load. Like most people, I want to make it to the college of my choice (MIT). Even so, I don't want to look back realizing that I didn't have much of a childhood because I spent all my time studying. What can I do? Have any of you ever been through this? What did you do?
How could one know whether he/she is on the right path of life? People base their judgement about good and bad on their culture, education and experience. Some societies consider drinking as a common social activity where as other consider it bad. How could one make a decision (being un-biased) that things he/ she is considering right/ wrong are actually right/ wrong or visa versa.
At any time in life does two wrongs make a right? In many cases two wrongs or two negatives do not make a right. However this rule is not hard and fast, as in the example of this example is not 'not applicable'. The not in front of the not applicable changes the meaning from bears no relevancy to bears relevancy. Also if two negative numbers are multiplied by themselves they form a positive. So is there any time in human affairs that two wrongs will equal a right? Please note that moral ambiguity is not able to be considered as right. Serious answers only please. Thanks.

Do humans have an intrinsic right to life? Do people have the right to live just by nature of them being people? If not, who should decide which people have the right to live and what criteria should be used to determine a person's worthiness of this right?
