Who out there who is not a christian is prolife? I am agnostic but I am prolife, I know others like me exist but I just wanted to know if they were on yahooanswers. Please no debating that is not my intention.

Could we simplify the abortion debate by agreeing to prolife/antilife and prochoice/antichoice? Depending on the side you are on. It would make the word salad so much easier to digest. We could simplify it further by frontal lobe/antifrontal lobe to separate those that dont care about this from those that do. I think the numbers would likely surprise many people. the prolife calls the opposition antilife and prochoice calls the opposition antichoice. Twilight is the first for profrontal lobe!!

Do you think prolife turns to prodeath if a pregnancy turns dangerous for both mother and unborn? I am curious of how people feel about "pro-life" When you call yourself a pro-life activists, do you eat animals, do you wear fur or leather? What is your standing on women who have been raped and become pregnant or have a medical condition that could cause them to lose their life if they had to carry a baby to term? What about "un-fit" parents, why should they be allowed to have children when they will neglect/murder/abuse them in the future? Even if women carry their children to term but choose not to keep them do you feel it is best to keep them in some sort of orphanage with no guarantee of adoption (whether it would be a stable home or not)? What about the homeless and starving and diseased children (and adults) already in the world?! Do we ever consider if we were to change the laws to be pro-life our national stability (whether physically or economically) might resemble something close to that of China (with a population of over 6 million and not enough homes, jobs, etc)? So eating meat versus having an abortion isn't a contradiction at all...? This is not really a question, more of a statement. I guess I don't see how people would need to go to 3rd world countries when there are any children right hear at home that need a family... I've never heard of a shortage. My aunt has adopted several children (of various ages, mostly between 6mths to 2years). She waited over a year for each child to be permanently placed with her, one child she adopted overseas only took her 4 months for all the paper for to go through.... The United States has many laws that keep needy children from being adopted! But they are here with and without disabilities, youg and old!

In the case of prolife/abortion, do you not think the mother, has the right to give life? If you make life mandatory based on sex, say people get randomly impregnated....do you not devalue life? is life not a ...gift from your parents???? if your parents are forced to have a life, is that beauty lost? freedom...yes. if everyone started to get impregnated everytime they had sex, condom or no condom...there would be a problem; Otherwise....you would have overpopulation and you would be acting irresponsibly not to lower it by performing abortion... if you don't sacrifice some life you devalue life to the point that its meaningless....in the micro level, its prob ruining someone's life....on the macro level... its acting irresponsibly and letting the standard of living go down worldwide as well as decrease the VALUE of life... this is why china made a responsible choice with the one child policy.... can you imagine the world having 11 BILLION HUMANS? yes, in reality, your glad as hell they made that decision, you just don't know it. Is it anybody's right to devalue life until it becomes meaningless? etc, etc. responsible or moral to devalue life.. if you make it so blatant...then each time you choose NOT to have sex your stopping a heart... you could have had a baby....what right do you have to NOT have sex and not have a baby that would have had a beating heart.. Its always your choice....its only when it becomes concrete that we toy with the notion that it might have something to do with life in general, when its always been about choice....and values.. the only reason we allow pro-life now, is because the world has ALLOWED for that type of attitude...if we were more populated, attitude accordingly changes...it has nothing to do with 'ideals' or morals. The natural common denominator would be abortion. We should all respect life. That's why we should find a balance. Why would you be prolife, when there is already an overpopulation problem? When I was younger I believed abortion was not a good thing, but after all considerations, I feel it is unethical for people to be having big families now since we are ruining our planet. If you have more than two children per family (couple) then you are contributing to the use of more energy, food, and eventually waste. Why is it that religions often seem to portray having many children as a good thing, like God will reward thoes with lots of children and who produce a lot of waste? 100 million orphaned children, why isn't prolife interested? Throughout history few valued life of an orphan enough to adopt. Look around you, only a few have adopted anybody. Adopting more orphans is one way of showing women you care for humanity rather than purely newborns. Women would never have abortions if she felt she and hers would be valued, safe and taken care of.

Why is prolife an impossible position? even if it was illegal to perform, a woman could still get an abortion. She could go to another country. She could take a drug. Do you consider Prolife to be primarily a Christian value? Do you think that prochoice is? commonly know as an atheist viewpoint? Also, what about other religions such as wiccans, scientologist, hindu, buddist, pagans, ect. Would you say the majority of these are prolife or prochoice?

Question for fellow prolife parents? You are prolife but your daughter gets pregnant. She dosent know what to do and/or wants an abortion. Do you support this or refuse to sign for the abortion?
